How to report a Bug

[edit] 1 - Previous considerations
Before reporting a bug, you need to check that:
- The bug is reproducible, and you know how to reproduce it.
- You are using the most recent version of eyeOS.
- You are using eyeOS on a supported platform (see the Requirements).
[edit] 2 - Launchpad
Launchpad is the platform in which eyeOS delegates its bug reporting service. The first step to use it is creating an account. Once you have one, all you have to do is go to https://bugs.launchpad.net/eyeos/ and report the bug.
[edit] 3 - Reporting
To report the bug, you must fill a form, bearing in mind that:
- The summary must be concrete and explanatory.
- The body of the report must have the following content:
- How to reproduce the bug.
- Operating System.
- PHP version.
[edit] 4 - Tracking the Bug
Once we are finished reporting the bug, it is important to track its state, for example for providing new information and sharing experiences with the developers.
The reported bugs don't need to necessarily be about eyeOS itself, they can also be about other parts such as the designs or the documentation, for example. In such cases, the explained in section 3 does not necessarily apply to the report.
